Why We Exist
Clove oil is everywhere — and that's the problem. Much of what's sold online is diluted, cut with synthetic eugenol, or blended from anonymous stock of unknown age. The warm, complex character of true clove bud oil gets lost, and formulators buying leaf oil in bulk rarely see a single test result before the drum arrives.
We started Clove Essential Oil to do one thing exceptionally well: offer genuine, single-botanical clove oil — and nothing else. No hundred-oil catalog, no mystery blends. Just Syzygium aromaticum, distilled from the spice gardens of Indonesia, the plant's native home.
One Tree, Two Oils
Every part of the clove tree is aromatic, and we bottle its two classic expressions:
- Clove Bud Oil — steam-distilled from hand-picked, sun-dried flower buds. Warm, rich, and sweetly spicy, with naturally high eugenol and eugenyl acetate. The refined choice for diffusing, perfumery, and fine blends.
- Clove Leaf Oil — distilled from the tree's glossy leaves. Bolder, smokier, and more economical — the working oil of soap makers, candle makers, and formulators who need true clove character at production volumes.
Tested, Not Trusted on Faith
Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry is the gold standard for verifying essential oil authenticity. Our clove bud oil's GC-MS analysis identifies 98.68% of the oil's composition — led by 73.57% eugenol and 12.82% eugenyl acetate, exactly the profile genuine clove bud should show — with no adulterants, diluents, or contaminants detected. Every batch also carries a Certificate of Analysis with its physical parameters and batch dates.
Our Commitments
- Purity — 100% Syzygium aromaticum, never diluted, never extended with synthetic eugenol.
- Transparency — batch numbers, manufacture dates, and lab data published, not promised.
- Honest sizing — the same oil in every size, from a 0.5 oz starter bottle to 400 lb bulk drums, with bulk pricing that actually scales.
- Plain language — clove oil is a remarkable aromatic. We'll tell you what it smells like and how to use it — never what it "cures."
